Healthy Peanut Butter & Banana Dog Treats

1 banana (mashed)
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup oats
1/2 cup apple sauce
1 1/4 cup flour of your choice. (I used rice flour.)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Start off by preheating your oven to 300° F. Then in a large bowl, whisk together all the dry ingredients.

In another bowl, mash the banana and combine with apple sauce and peanut butter.

Gently mix the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Once everything is mixed together, knead with your hands. Take a rolling pin and flatten out the dough. Once dough is flattened, use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes.

Place shapes on a cookie sheet, and Bake for 30 minutes. If your pup prefers soft treats, take them out after 20 minutes. (
Just keep in mind softer cookies will not last as long.)

Side note:

Make sure to use a non-stick baking sheet, or grease baking sheet.

How to store:
og treats have no preservatives. It is important to make sure the cookies are crisp and dry. You can store your homemade dog biscuits in a tight canister or tight zip lock bag.
You can also leave treats in the refrigerator. They will last up to 2 months. You can also freeze them in an air tight container, or freezer bag.

Cody bear (our family dog) absolutely LOVES these treats. If you try out this recipe, please let me know how your pup likes it!
