Super Easy Rice Krispie Hearts

3 TBS Butter
4 cups Mini Marshmallows
6 cups GF Rice Krispies
Chocolate or candy melting wafers
Food Coloring

Melt the butter in a large pot over low heat. Add in the marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from the heat and add in Rice Krispies until well coated. (Or, you can cheat like me and use a microwave.) Add food color if desired.

Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet, and dump mixture out. Smooth the mixture as evenly as possible. (Using a buttered spatula works best.) Allow Rice Krispies to cool.

Once cooled, use a heart shaped cookie cutter to cut out shapes.

Now for the fun part, decorating! Melt chocolate, spread on chocolate, add sprinkles and enjoy!
