Summer is here! (2014)

It's officially summer, and we've been trying to keep busy. I haven't gotten a chance to blog about the little things we've been up to. So, I thought I'd take the opportunity now.
We had our first bonfire of the year! It was an extremely cold night, but it was worth it. There's something about sitting around a bonfire that's so relaxing.

We also have been jumping a lot on our trampoline. Last year Tyson didn't have the best balance. He would fall easily, and wasn't able to jump with two feet. This year is a different story. It's amazing watching him grow and reach milestones.

Father's day unfortunately didn't go well for Daddy-o. He was severely sick, and had food poisoning. It's a good thing we decided to celebrate the day before.

Tyson and I purchased cupcakes from two talented ladies in our town. The cupcakes were absolutely perfect, and tasted delicious! (Thank you Crazy Cupcake Ladies!)

Waddles (our newest pet) and Tyson are still bonding well. Tyson loves feeding her, and watching her play. I couldn't be happier to see how responsible Ty is being.

The family and I went to my cousin Tara's wedding. It was absolutely GORGEOUS! Everything was so perfect! They had an outdoor ceremony, and reception. The decor was spot on, the wedding party was beautiful and the day was just wonderful. I'm happy I was able to be apart of the day.

We went to the zoo last weekend, it's a summer tradition of ours.
We checked out all the animals, and of course visited the goats. Tyson actually fed them this year! (YAY! His sensory issues typically make him feel sick watching anyone eat.)

Canada day was another successful day. Tyson allowed me to put a tattoo on his face! This is big news in our house. Last year he screamed and didn't want a tattoo touching him. (It's the little things!) We checked out the sites around town, and then watched fireworks.

What have some of your favorite moments been so far this summer? I'm looking forward to creating many more memories.
